Playground Upgrades Are Complete!

After many years of use, the time had come to upgrade the playground in the TSA Park.  Over the course of multiple years, the Park Board worked with Lewis & Clark County, the Treasure State Acres HOA, members of the Treasure State Acres community, the City of Helena, and others to make this dream a reality.

Construction of the new playground was completed in November 2024. The project was funded through a combination of TSA Park Board funds, a wonderful grant received from the Lewis & Clark County and City of Helena Parks Board, and generous donations from the TSA Homeowners Association, numerous individuals in the neighborhood, and the lacrosse league that practices regularly in the park.

The new playground includes:

  • A main play structure with 2 slides, multiple platform levels, 2 ladder type climbing features, a monkey bars style feature, a rock climbing wall, and a couple of other small play features.
  • A three bay swing set with 3 belt seat swings, 2 enclosed tot swings, and a “Zero G” swing chair for those who need extra support but still want to join the fun.
  • A 4-panel structure with activities for the little ones like “3 In A Row” and a “Twist Ball Run”
  • Two new benches and a picnic table, and
  • The slide from the former playground which remained in place as a kid favorite.
  • Safe and easy to maintain wood chip base material that replaced the old pea gravel.

We welcome everyone to come and enjoy the new playground and to spread the word with friends in the Helena Valley and Lewis & Clark County community.
